SOLD OUT, SOLD OUT, SOLD OUT, SOLD OUT

To Benefit Habitat for Humanity Youth House #2 and the Fairfield Theatre.

Band Together’s vision is to create great musical events that are fun to attend and help unite the community of talented musicians in the area with people and organizations interested in channeling the funds raised to specific families that need a helping hand. In discussing the meaningfulness of these performances to their lives, Fried and Vigorito articulate four goals: 1) to make and enjoy music, 2) to use their talent and influence to help people in need, 3) to develop a network of supporters for concerts and programs, and 4) to get one step closer to Heaven.

June 19th, 2006  Band Together Donates another $5000

Band Together Stages Sold Out Concert at Fairfield Theatre to Benefit Habitat For Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County and The Fairfield Theatre Last year, local musicians and business professionals Rob Fried, Jerry Vigorito and Gabrielle DiBianco founded a charity music organization, called “Band Together” and arranged a concert series to “help Connecticut families one at a time”. Their third event occurred on May 31st at the Fairfield Theatre’s Stage One in Fairfield with proceeds from ticket sales going to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County’s Youth House #2, which Band Together has adopted. The accompanying photo shows the check presentation to Pam Giblon, Habitat’s Vice President of Development. The concert was sold out and standing room only seats were sold the day of the event. The theme of this concert was “Ladies Sings The Blues” featuring the areas top female vocalists: Jen Durkin (Deep Banana Blackout), Sarah Brooks, jazz singer Nicole Pasternak, Christine Tambakis (Tangled Vine) and Tara Engler, and an all star band that included Butch Taylor, Chris Coogan, Tyger MacNeal, John Cain, Pat Williams, Joe Meo, Rob Fried and Jerry Vigorito. Band Together’s vision is to create great musical events that are a lot of fun to attend and help unite the community of fabulous musicians in the area with families and groups that need a helping hand.
